Are you a budding Indiana playwright or a professional who calls Indiana, instead of New York or LA, your place of inspiration? Need to give a voice to that new script you're working on? Then we have the weekend for you!
 
Indiana Theatre Works is a two-day conference that will give your creative juices...and that script...an intensive workout!
 
CALL FOR SCRIPTS

Deadline - March 30, 2008

  • Send 4 copies of 10 contiguous pages*
    AND
    one copy of the completed one act or full-length play
  • No ten minute scripts.
    *Half page monologues or more will count as 2-3 pages.
  • Use suggested format on web or a script-writing program if possible.
  • Previously workshopped scripts are eligible, but previously produced scripts are not.
  • Send by REGULAR MAIL with script submission form and ITA membership dues to

The scripts will not be returned.
 
Submit your script(s) to the ITA office. Enclose a seperate cover sheet with your name, address, phone number, and e-mail. Do NOT put any of this information on your script(s). Scripts are read by a committee, which will not have access to playwright identification.

Any submitted script may be selected for publication in the ITA Journal and also may be considered for ITA's ongoing reading series that takes place at the Wheeler Arts Community in Indianapolis at various times throughout the year.
